Does anyone use a dollar sized okito box?
I love the routines with this prop, and wonder how the key moves work with the larger coins... |

I do not use one, but saw one used yesterday at the local magic shop. It was very impressive and I liked the effect a lot.
Did you know there's a guy living in our closet?

Okitos are a great prop. Dollars are great if your hands are big enought o handle them -
God's grace rocks! It makes a good cups and balls routine look pretty boring in comparison.

I have small hands and use Jim Zachary's dollar size okito/boston set. If you can palm a morgan, you can do any okito move with a dollar.

I have one from RnT II. Very nice quality. Davidmagic makes a good point about palming.

I have the Owen one. It includes an extra secret component that sort of works like a dove pan. Otherwise, it's a dolllar size Okito box.

While RNT II does make them, have to second Pete Biro's motion about Joe Porpers, very nicely made and balanced. I use his, ours and as Julie mentioned Owens.

I have purchased a number of different dollsr size Okito's, as the dollars are the only one's I use. I have finally settled on Roy Kuepper's Aluminum boxes. They look great, handle well, nice light weight and yet are designed to handle all the Okito box moves well. These boxes never require polishing. They are also available in the usual brass, too.

They will also have room for one coin with an [. I also have small hands that fit very well with my 5'5" frame. If you would like a 2 box routine (dollar and half dollar) send an email to Harris.deutsch@leesummit.k12.mo.us Harris (OCD except cleaning) Deutsch for a lighter touch in coin magic
