Greetings,
I have spent some time using the search function, but unfortunately have not found what I am looking for. If anyone can help I would appreciate it greatly! I am looking for foreign coins that are equivalent in size to a US half dollar and a US dollar. If you would please let me know. Thanks in advance for your time!! Best, ~Ron |

I know the East African 10cent coins are the same size as the American Half Dollars.

The English Penny, Australian Kangaroo or Koala, the Canadian Gold Maple Leaf and the Chinese Panda-Sterling are approximately the same size as the U.S. half dollar.
The Canadian Sterling Silver Maple Leaf, the English Churchill Dollar and the Mexican 50 Peso are the approximate size of the U.S, dollar.....
Where I go, so do my coins.....

French 5 Franc Coin (No longer in circulation because of the Euro) is the same size, but is silver in colour aswell. I think David Roth might use one of these in 'The Planet'. Shame they got rid of the Franc, I've got a few nice coins lieing around from when we went htere before the Euro.

There is a chart on this page that I have found useful:
http://www.brent-krueger.com/sizechart.html I have never purchased from this site; so I can't say anything about their service. |
