I really agree with lance. This was a FANTASTIC design for this prop. what great detail .
Did not like the grunting much. A bit to much for my taste. |

But.. he does this AND compressed.. I with the money and the design team he has.. can't he come up with something new and exciting?
With aplogies to Andre Kole.. I've never thought compressed was a very strong trick. |

Even though he called it compressed, I think you mean Squeeze Box. That is the name Andre & DC use. Compressed is a different illusion.

I have to say though, I like this presentation better than DC's.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rn3s4jZLYy0 The whole concept of the metal poles is very cool.

Isn't that first illusion (the slicer) a Franz Harary illusion? Maybe he sold it to Labero.

Marvello,
I think its a David Mendoza illusion but Franz does has some claim to it. Mark

I never thought I'd see a magician LESS articulate than David Blaine.

I must chime in .. the Slicer Illusion is built by David Mendoza but was invented/designed by Franz Harary. From what I can see on Youtube it appears to be a reworked Mendoza Slicer. I'm not sure that it left MagiCraft with that design but some of the intricate workings do match up with the real deal.
Sure it looks cool .. did you catch how tall this prop must be? Steve |

Steve,
Thanks for clearing that up. Yes, a pretty tall prop, must be 6ft high in horizontal position! Mark

I think it is a good presentation but could do without the grunts. It does sometimes add to an effect with the magician making a few short comments during an illusion vs total mime, but the grunts don't work.
