After some time and controversy, RNT II Magic, Inc. is making the arrangements with the Fox Estate to see to it that the Paul Fox Trademark is transfered as quickly as possible.
RNT II feels with the upcoming David Ben Book on Paul Fox and the future release of any products of the Fox Estate or agents of the estate, it would be appropriate that they have the rightful use and possesion of the trademark. While there are some minor issues that need to be worked out, we are confident that these will all be in place shortly and the transfer will happen quickly and smoothly. Sincerely, Jake

How much would you have paid to see Busby's reaction?

Funny, Busby never even entered our thoughts, at all. The only concern is getting the PF Trademark back to the family at this point. Jeff had ample oppertunity to re-register the trademark, but for what ever reasons, he chose to abandon it.
The only concerns now is the process of transfering registration to Paul's daughter so she can assign this to whom she has as agents of the PF estate. Jake

I thought that, according to all his ebay complaints, he said HE owned all the rights...didn't he? Or at least ALLUDE to that...

Steve,
I'm uncertain of what Busby's rights were to the entire PF line. But when he abandoned the trademark, he also abandoned the products he hallmarked with the TM. There is a difference between canceling and abandoning a trademark. The law requires that you take action, ie legal to stop the unauthorized use of your trademark, but this is NOT provisional for used merchandise that have a TM on it. Busby was way out of line and quite frankly I don't know why Ebay's legal wizards let him get away with it for as long as they did.

Obviously they look like Paul Fox cups according to Busby. I see the likeness of having a top and a bottom and resembling a cup. Geeez.

The set of "Ravel Super Cups" I have was a very expensive purchase. They are aluminum plated and cost $5.00.
