Can anyone tell me how do you keep your silk fountain(at home) while you are not using it? Do you just lie them down on the bed or hang it? Are there any other ways to keep the silks of the silk fountain fresh?

I hang mine by a clothespin attached to a clothes hanger where I have all of my big silks hanging by clothespins...........

If you do use clothes pins on silks, try to fing the kind used in a photography darkroom for drying prints. They have rubber feet that won't snag your silks. Even better, the spring is rustproof! (Most are even diswasher safe.)
Now for the really good news. Wet process printing is a going away technology. So when you do find these clips, the price is right! Some kitchen stores have clips like this but make sure that the springs cannot rust and ruin your silks. Bob Sanders Magic By Sander |
