I am in the middle of putting together a 'psychic' routine using mentalism with the view of doing corporate work. The tricks I have use tarot cards and esp cards as part of the general mood. The question I have is this: is this something commercial? do people think it would work in the corporate world. I would dress and act the part of a medium doing cold reading as well.

There are books you need to have and read if you plan on doing corporate work. By a Chuck... and a Ken.... hmmmmm.

Have you checked out Deep Astonishment II by Paul Harris? It is a very personal, tarot card related effect. Its a bit of a slower effect, so I recommend it as a later effect (mostly preferbly a closer). Don't get wrong though, it is a very powerful clairvoyance effect.

A simple answer to that question is "Yes!". As with any new project it will take time. I'm not sure where your abilities are so therefore cannot make a judgement on how long. Your insight on the corp. world and how to relate what you do to it will be the big payoff. Like doing headlines not from the News papers but perhaps from Wall Street. Little changes like these can make for a better suited show. I would have something wonderful to show a few agents (when you have it all down) to get yourself started, Set your price for what you do. DO NOT ask an agent how much you should charge! I think the idea is great and I think you will have a blast doing it. Good luck in your new adventure!

Just wanted to thank you all for replying. I will check out deep astonishment and think about the details of the act too. So thanks again.
