I just got the DVD set of the Geoffrey Ronning training. I have to say, I find it very difficult to watch, as the audio has a very loud buzzing sound. At first, I thought it was my TV, so I tried playing it on my PC, and my laptop. I have concluded that the issue is the audio on the DVDs themselves. I have not tried all of the DVDs yet, but I have found the buzzing on Vol 1 & 2. Has anyone else experienced this?
I have to say that, for the amount of money these cost, I would expect a bit better production quality.

Try unplugging the left audio cable. Sometimes when you record these things in mono and play them back in stereo, you get a hum on the unused channel. Just a thought Tony |

Ronning acknowledges that the first 2 DVD's have poor audio - let me assure you that the rest of the videos are much better (they have changed their mic position).
There is also the occassion clicking/electronic sound throughout the series that is due to someone's GSM cell phone in the room. The GSM phones will interfere with electronic equipment - if a speaker is in the vicinity then you will hear the sound. Good luck - the course is worth the time investment once you get past the first couple of videos. Scott

Scott,
Thanks very much for your reply. I was still planning on plugging through them all. I am just glad to know that, after the first two, I won't be going crazy from that insane buzzing. Tony, Thanx for the tip, but the buzzing is actually on the recording. It is not coming from my speakers.

I am in agreement with you, Danny. Regardless of the fact that Geoff acknowledges that the audio is bad on the first 2 discs, it is still poor production quality. As a first impression, this is not a good thing.
That being said, the reviews on this course have been outstanding. I have not gotten far enough into the material to comment on it, and there have been enough reviews that would make any review I do redundant. I am merely surprised that nobody had mentioned the poor production quality in any previous reviews.
