I own a TT. The only advantage of the insert is if you're doing multiple card to wallet with no reset. The load of the insert is fine and myself and others have developed no flash, more natural book opening buckle loads for it that cut the handling time right down. As has been mentioned the slit can snag unless care and practice is taken.
With the Insert it is quite bulky and the flap covering the first load slot should in my opinion be a zip. I've always been suspicious of peek functions where the magician has to retain the wallet - what justification is there? WOuld someone mind PMing me about the peek function of SAW. I've been considering purchasing a mentalism wallet for a while but am struggling to find any information comparing the different methodologies. |

If you're looking for pure versatility, it's hard to beat the SAW. If you want a perfect p**k, and a wonderful surface on which to p***et w**te, the Outlaw or Widowmaker is the best, IMHO. And for card-to-wallet, the JOL is a thing of beauty.
As far as leather quality, I'll just say this- JOL wallets and the Widowmaker by Outlaw are made by Jerry O'Connell and Roy Roth respectively- two of the finest wallet craftsmen around. |

Just a thought on the Triple Threat insert.
You have someone... let us say choose a card or write something down on one of your business cards you use the insert by opening the clip and holding it open on the table and have them insert the chosen card (they actually push the card in while you hold the flap open) for safe keeping (cannot change or forget the card or what they wrote) then simiply pick it up and put it in your shirt as you would an outlaw wallet and get a fantastic peak and go from there. I affixed part of a credit card right under the flap part to guide the selection in easily.
If I were to agree with you. Then we would both be wrong. As of Apr 5, 2015 10:26 pm I have 880 posts. Used to have over 1,000

Chris,
Absoluteley true. I have no trouble changing out my personal cards from wallet to wallet for the gig I am going to. I also like the Bombshell wallet that Tony makes. again, though, I change out my personal cards so I can take it. I often go to a gig with more than one wallet on me, ready to go! Best Arthur |
