If it's a new show in Vegas, Hans Klok comes to mind...I'd have to double check, though...

The "basic" rig "only" including the ..... and harness, without any moving parts, is $30K. Quoted to me by Mr. Gaughan. All the other "additions" to make a 3D flying possible, add another $50K. Peter Marvey's is even more elaborate and needs a special stage or extensive pre-rigging. Knock yourself out...

ZFX does amazing work -
http://www.zfxflying.com They are a MUCH more flexible system than Foy and, IMHO, are replacing Foy as the go-to company. They're a bit more expensive, and I believe more for theatrical use, but the rig is lighter and has more options... |

Well, since Chris Angel will have the theatre at the Luxor to work with, I wouldn't be surprised if he bought Peter Marvey's Flying. He would certainly have the budget to do so, and it also flies him out over the audience. It would also bring to life some of his Mindfreak-style levitations.
By the way, Rafael, how is the Hans Klok show progressing? Matt |

The show is getting there!
Having Pamela in the show is a blessing for us - she's great and loves magic! A little less than 2 weeks before our opening, so we're all very excited... I believe this show will be a good thing for magic (and magicians) in Las Vegas! |

Pamela certainly brings greater name recognition than Carmen would have.

I was not able to get a name from Peter. All I was told was a 20 year old kid from Nevada bought the unit, and it was shipped out a few months ago. I will see if I can get the name of the kid who bought it.
Best regards, Matt |

Can anybody PM me Gary Darwin's contact info? I can not seem to find his phone number.
Brandon Silverfield is the guy who bought the flying illusion. I spoke with Gary Darwin this evening, and he said Brandon Silverfield will be performing one of his illusions on a 30 minute television special. Apparently Silverfield bought an illusion from Darwin, and it was one that Gary created for David Copperfield some time ago. Copperfield liked the effect, but turned it down because of safety reasons. Gary Darwin will be one of the consultants for Brandon Silverield's show. |

Looks like Marvey's flying coach is more of a suspension than a levitation...?
