I just bought a DVD of a wonderful French documentary all about George Meles. A Turn of the century Magician who owned the Robert Houdin theatre and also a brilliant pioneer filmaker. The documentary is full of magic references and explores the roots of magic's relationship with the creation of the CINIMA. You can also view 15 of Melies silent trick films which are inspired and Manic. I encourage y'all to check it out. I bought it on Amazon
