Does anyone know of a hopping half set where both coins are gimmicked the same. In other word the half is a s***l covering a s***l over the sun and moon type gimmick.

It would be easy to produce the set you mention,
but what would be the point ?
You would go on longer with a trick that is already boardering being to long.

I've played around using different shells or having a different coin inside the s****'s but it's all a bit pointless.

The routine as it's always been done is hard to beat !

I pulled 8 years behind a magic counter, and EVERY Johnson Hopping Halves came with an Expanded [ that fit over any other half dollar.
Where did you buy your set? It could be that you didn't get a Johnson set.
Empire sells the cut down coin with a [ that fits only the cut down.
Once cool thing, a Johnson expanded [ fits over the Empire [. So three can be seen as one.

Hope this helps,

My "No Gaffs Hopping Halves" routine provides plenty of options for the types of coins you want to use.

It has just been published in the July issue of "Hidden Magic." (e-book available at feenx.net) I've loaded it with new sleights and different methods in each phase of the routine.

Hope you check it out!
