A bit about an experience I had with
stocking items in a Brick & Mortar Store.

Same has happened at an online store too.

That was an interesting read. Glad you got the problem resolved, even though I'm sure it was a pain in the ass. Smile

Best,

What a nightmare, certainly confirms the old adage "In God we Trust, all others pay cash"
"Now here's the man with the 25 cent hands, that two bit magician..."

Interesting read Marshal.... HMM cash is not always KING.... I went to the bank to make a deposit of a large amount of cash I have been collecting from events... I had a few $20's that were FAKE.......
I don't think my clients new it when they gave it to me... But, nothing like cash bouncing on you .....

That is quite unusual.
Was it a bank or a currency exchange?
Did you go back and tell them it was fake?

I'm surprised they didn't have the pens.

There were incidents around here of fake
$1,$5 and $10 bills by some High School
kids, and the gas stations were checking
them all.

Imagine, High School Kids!

I'm trying to figure out why someone would counterfeit $1 bills?? From what I've heard, the counterfeit paper and time it takes is to great to go for anytihng less than $20.

Hmm...learn something new everyday I guess. Smile

Thanks!

People don't think about conterfeiting smaller bills,
because everyone want bigger and more money.

Get away with a few $1 is easier than $20 or $50.

I think its a waste of time making it.

The bank came across it....
I had lots of cash... I collected it over a period of time and decided to DP it ....
But, when you look at it it did look fake... I never really looked at time of accepting it.... Most of the time clients hand me an envolpe with cash in it....

The value of your paper dollar or any currency is built on your trust in the government. That dollar could be worth nothing tomorrow. Gold, however, is universaly accepted regardless of any nations paper currency. Hence, Gold is King.

Ayn Rand's "Atlas Shrugged". Englightening. Should be mandatory reading to graduate high school.
