Has anyone ever tried making the jack in the box out of a dollar bill as explained in the Art of Astonishment book?
Very cool idea but realistic?... |

Yes, I have made the bill Jack in the Box from instructions I got from somewhere. I don't know about the realistic part. Is is very tiny and it takes some work to put Jack inside the box and use it. Also, it is a very challenging fold. For what it is worth, it seems to be a take off from the Jack In the Box created by Max Hulme, found in Eric Keneway's, 'Complete Origami'.
Good luck.

I just made one actually... But not from a bill. I made it from paper, as a test. Not sure if it's 100% accurate to the AOA guide lines, but I think I did good for a first try...
