My friend has a really good three fly routine using a shell that is VERY VERY visual. I like it a lot and have got it for the most part down. His name is Ben Schwartz. You might be able to have him tell you about it. His name here on the Café is uhhh yeah....Ben Schwartz. Good luck!

The two cleanest 3-fly routines I've ever seen are by Paul Wilson and Garrett Thomas. The only one that uses a shell (and a special something else) is Garrett's. Very clean vanishes and transfers. The last coin will fool you badly. It's on his Any Questions video which is truly amazing by the way.
