Well, I'm calling them today to volunteer for 2-3 weeks during summer vacation (not for magic, though. I'm not experienced enough), and I was just thinking that this place would be prime for magic. I can't believe that in all my annual visits I have never seen a magician, close-up, street, or stage!
Allow me to summarize what it is. There is a Fort set in the year 1846, which was the center in Alberta for trading furs and goods. Then, you reach 1885 street, which is basically a small town at the dawn of settling periods. A cups n'balls stand or three-card-monte would look perfect for the time when there was lots of conning (and follow-up shootouts), maybe outside the saloon. Or sit on a wagon showing card tricks with antique-looking playing cards. Something like that. There is also a 1905 street, which is the same as 1885 but more modern with a restaurant, and a 1920 street with a midway. I simply can't believe that no one has performed magic here. In fact, it's downright impossible. But I haven't seen anyone so I was thinking that I might be able to. Of course, I'm not ready now, but maybe in a year when I'm more experienced. This is such a great volunteering opportunity, they even provide dress to go along with the times.

Oh I just found out that some magicians do actually work there and get paid. Guess I won't be volunteering for magic there.
