You could hide an elephant in those Oxfordbags! Quick, someone give me a plausible excuse for needing to buy a pair (one that will work on the wife).

Just not different enough for my tastes. Personally, I prefer Victorian.

JackScratch, you took the words out out of my mouth. If I could find a really nice set of Victorian evening dress, I don't think I would ever want another set of clothes.

Go to my URL. I'm very proud of my outfit. The various 20 century clothings have a certain style, and do look pretty cool, but when I dress up, I like to really make a striking image. 20th Century daily wear just doesn't do that, in my opinion.

There's some great stuff there! Just have to find the right environment for it to work. Either that, or make it part of your character.

I have seen good victorian costume patterns in most pattern books at regular fabiric stores.Just look under 'Costumes'.They even have some nice patterns based on 'Phantom of the Opera'. Their Civil War costumes are very nice and are very detailed. If you are not skilled at using patterns maybe you know someone who is. that way you can pick the size and fabric you like. Just FYI

That's pretty cool stuff. The 1920’s reminds me of golfer Bobby Jones kind of wardrobe.

What a great resource, they even have art deco cigarette cases! I can imagine some great ideas for a period themed show and some super costume changes! I have a couple of magic buddies I’m going to e-mail that to.
Thanks for the link, Steven |

I always loved the zoot suit. Will it ever become fashionable again?

When BDC don's a zoot there is NO other fashion!
I actually put my outfit together myself, from varius sources. The costume was designed specifically to create a specific impression in the spectator's minds. |
