I really enjoy performing the chop cup. I have my own routine which I have created based off a few of the greats. I was wondering if we could make a list of all the resources for chop cup routines as I would like to make up a new routine and am looking for ideas.
Here are some resources I am familiar with: The Chop Cup book Larry Jenning's Routine The Classic Chop Cup (teach-in series) dvd Chop Squared from Impossibilia Don Alan's Routine If you know of any others please list them. Thanks.

I just watched Danny Tong's Routine on the new "Reel Magic quarterly" DVD by Kozmo and I must say I saw several things in his routine that made me nod my head in approval.
I like his routine QUITE A BIT. In fact, more than quite a bit.

Dan tong's Chop Cup routine is probably the best I have ever seen. Simple, Clean and direct.
Check it out like Frank says! Also, Reel Magic Quarterly is absolutuely Outstanding! Every magician should have this!
I am truly blessed to have a job where people are laughing all the time and everyone believes in magic....Come to think of it, I'm blessed to even have a job.

I third dan tongs routine, its better then the vid gives justice. last time I performed it, a lady said there has to be more then one ball or somthing. I say aww your right and life the cup to show green ball before the final load, the color change alone slughtered at that moment.

One of the many things that I liked about the Dan Tong routine is that even if someone knows what a chop cup is, it gets away from the typical handling. It's simply a well-crafted routine, that's a delight to watch.
The Jim Swain routine is another one that I like, for it's handling. I wish that the complete Paul Daniels routine was on DVD. |

His "famous 3 coin trick" uses many slights that take some work but the payoff is fantastic and the slights are ones you'll use over and over again in different tricks. people will swear you're using gaffed coins and/or a gaffed purse but all you use are 3 (count 'em 3) half dollars. Ahhhhh!!! http://www.theambitiouscard.com/details.......NEXPECTE there are even the companion DVDs for the non-readers.
