In the video demo, my card appeared in the second packet before he vanished the card from the first packet.

The similar effect I created (after reading this thread) is like this :

1. I show 10 cards in Packet-1 and spectator select one of them in his mind.
2. I show 10 cards in Packet-2, there is no same card with the selection.
3. I place Packet-2 face down on the table.
4. I again show 10 cards in Packet-1 to show the selected card is still in this Packet.
5. Then the selection disappers from Packet-1 and reappears in Packet-2.

Although the magician in video demo did not ask what the thought of card was, I think it is better to ask the name of the thought of card before revealing in the second packet.

I would even ask the thought of card before vanishing it in the first packet and spread the packet on the table.

I'm not sure if there is a demo on TA as I'm only on disc 4. There are a lot of easter eggs, so it might be on there somewhere (I'll let you know once I've eaten all the mushrooms).

Coincidently, disc 4 contains an excellent non-gimmicked version of 'Strange Travellers' called 'Naked Strange'. The effect isn't quite as clean as Strange Travellers, especially if someone is burning holes through your hands, but the end effect is the same (and you end totally clean ).

BTW, I think the video on YouTube is from his TV special 'Dive of Death'.

Now I'm curious! Does the effect begin with Blaine, Harris or Nate Leipzig? Also it seems to incorporate a "Princess Card" move which must go back a century! fascinating watching Blaine's performance, by the way. He keeps it moving along, and is very smooth!

I know this thread is pretty old but I want to discuss Blaine's handling which he didn't use biddle count.
