I had my package from James a couple of days ago. The balls (pictured at the top of this page) are stunning! Photos really don't do these justice. The intricate work put into these is absolutely amazing.
Thanks, James - I have no idea how you make thesebut I'm extremely grateful. I'm going to try and take some photos at the weekend and will post links here. Richard
I have six locks on my door all in a row. When I go out, I only lock every other one. I figure no matter how long somebody stands there picking the locks, they are always locking three. Elayne Boosler

When final load balls that are this beautiful appear, it must certainly make the misdirection for loading another that much more effective!

I am glad you are aware of this, Mark. I get about 3 - 5 seconds lead time for subsequent loads.
This is from my observations ... when the first ball is revealed, the audience cannot help but fix their eyes on the colorful balls. When my first load appears, I just start looking at the eyes of the audience just to see their response and that is what I noticed. |

I am happy to announcement my further break-through with my creations.
I now manage to craft chopped balls in the form of pom-poms (my hardest challenge), crocheted glitter balls, spiral glitter balls and the Temari felt balls. At this time I am still perfecting the chopped pom-pom balls in as many designs as possible. The range can be seen below. Currently the chopped ball that I have successfully crafted and the one I am now using is the one seen on the left of the photo below. This design is known as the batik design. So far the chopped balls can be used with the various chop cups I own, including the Bill Palmer Merlin cup, RnT2 Don Alan and Foxy combo cups, Uday n other Indian makers cups, and my own home made chop cups. Will continue to update my balls crafting research. Enjoy! . |

I thought of creating a Safari theme many can use for cups and balls - and with that idea I came up with two designs for the PomPoms - zebra design and the tiger design.
Both are still in beta version - photo below for your viewing pleasure Tiger stripe design http://i442.photobucket.com/albums/qq144......300x.jpg Zebra stripe design http://i442.photobucket.com/albums/qq144......ebra.jpg http://i442.photobucket.com/albums/qq144......ra_1.jpg |

Just manage to take a photo of the zebra and tiger design pom-pom together with a chop cup. Here's how they look like.
