I was told by a rock group of musicians to make the singer appear at the beginning of their show.

I would appreaciate some ideas for making a singer appear on stage (dealers,builders, name of illusions...)

First thought that comes to my mind is a simple flash appearance portal. Decorated properly and with some good pyro I think this would work well for a band. It is simple and inexpensive to make, even if you have to add a back piece for the b**** a**. Also it requires no real training for the person being produced and you don't have to worry about how bulky thier outfit is or if they have to appear with a guitar or microphone. The prop itself can lend nicely to the stage set as well if it is painted and decorated properly. The plans can be found in Osbournes first book.

Be careful of using pyro in a club!!

Why not make a tip over trunk that resembles a large road case. The tip over trunk is an easy illusion to produce some one in.
