With regard to my last post, I realized later that instead of using a stamp, simply writing the numbers in with a marker would be much simpler. I was concerned with making it look good, but that's worse. It removes the personal touch.
Using a trick used by card cheats, it wouldn't even be necessary to memorize the numbers. That technique could also be used for the Knights tour, but doing what Scott Cram recommended, i.e. allowing the first and last squares to be chosen, would would preclude that.
Humans make life so interesting. Do you know that in a universe so full of wonders, they have managed to create boredom. Quite astonishing.
