I recently posted links to these pictures and found that several people were interested in having me build a Close-Up Presentation Table for them. I've decided to make a small run of twelve of these if anyone is interested. This will definitely help me get my fix of woodworking in for the summer. I would like to make these all at one time if I can generate enough interest. I will sell these at half price for the first 6 people who are interested. The rest of them will go back to normal price. Please PM me if you are interested in owning an "Elegant Close-Up Presentation Table". -Bryan P.S.- I will not post any prices out here on the open forum as I am not a paying sponsor... |

That is a fantastic looking table. Very classy. You must have put a lot of time into making it.

It's a labor of love...
Each table has about 25 hours wrapped up in it- between sanding, assembly, staining, re-sanding, and re-coating with a polyurethane finish. I do a lot of selective picking when purchasing the lumber so each table has a common grain pattern and appears to be from the same stock of lumber. The suede work-surface is actually made from Ralph Lauren window covering fabrics. This was the best stuff I could find when searching through our local fabric supplier. It is nice because it won't fade and can be cleaned off and protected with Scotch Guard. I the choice of red, green, or black suede. I like the red as it brings out the "classy" look. All the decorative metal pieces are made from brass. It looks magnificent against the oak finish. The coin and card hold-outs are made from acrylic sheets and are secured to the underside of the table. The back of the table folds down to make a small shelf for final loads and gives access to the large storage space beneath each table. Thank you for your kind words! -Bryan Gilles |
