I live in the UK and am using some coin routines in my card acts and I am wondering where can I find old English Pennys and American coins. Someone told me that travel agents deal only with American bills and don't do American Coins. Is this true? If so what do I do?

Coin dealers. Here, accross the pond I get my old English Pennies for 25¢ each. Half dollars and dollar coins (three styles--Eisenhower, Susan B. Anthony & the new Sacagawea dollar) are mostly available at local banks (harder to find Eisenhowers in banks--found mostly in casinos).

My local coin and medalion dealer always gives me a pile of old Pennys free when I buy other coins, you may want to check your yellow pages.

Danny, try "Magical Wonders" in Watford (sorry, I don't have the contact details). They sell old English Pennies, 5 for a £1.00. They also sell US halves (can't remember the price).

Being in the UK, I would think old English Pennies should be abundant in any coin shop as well as American coins.
