Are you asking about stuff that kids could do, or stuff to do for kids?
If you can pull it off in a biker bar without being violated by a corn dog, more power to you.

I like HIPPETY HOP RABBITS (color changing wood rabbits). It is made in a small closeup version as well as in a large stage size. The kids get involved right at the start and stay involved until the trick is completed. Lots of excitment here. There are many others tricks similar to this, but I think kids like magic with rabbits.

I forgot to mention that another trick that my grandkids like is PAPER BALLS OVER THEIR HEAD.

Check the "Kid Stuff" drawer on my web site if you are not allergic to building your own props.

The change bag or egg bag is killer for kids, as well as an easy to understand cups and balls routine.

I would also select items that are colorful. Colors appeal to children.

Closeup for kids? parlour for kids? stage for kids?
All depends.. closeup I would deff suggest sponge balls... parlour and stage.. anything that gets them onstage and invloved in the magic. |

For children...I have found that children like any kind of visual magic. Sponge balls is the obvious choice, being bright and visual.
