This is a very old release. when it first came out, I remember it had a lot of disappointing reviews. I think the description was a little misleading, or something like that

The principle is very bold and could be indeed a principle used by psychics.
You can´t perform this effect as single effect. You have to show another design duplication effect and after this you present this effect "by the way".
It´s a little bit complicated to explain without explaining the principle.
Within the right preformance and routine, the effect is nice - I like it.

I have just read some information about it and it all sounds very scary. I mean, causing a spectator psychological damage for a magic trick can't be a good thing.

Is there a specific reason that it cannot be sold to people under 18?

Forget the blurb and all sales "informations", it´s nonsense, a story to sell more of this manuscript.
It´s just a bold trick to realize a design duplication, nothing more. The rest is mumbo jumbo.
