Which one is better?

As astute as you are, I think you know the answer. Neither one is better than the other. They both contained some of the best material from the best thinkers in mentalism for their time.
Annemann's Jinx brought mentalism into the modern stream of the time. Jone's Magick was the next step in modernizing mentalism and bringing it up to date for the period. Earle's Sygyzy gave us mentalism for today. Like great music, we now are waiting for who will step forward and fill the void. To really be a practioner of mentalism and have a sense of mentalism, I believe you must experience all three. It is too bad that Magick has gone out of sight in pricing. In my opinion, it has become a collector's item sitting on too many shelves collecting dust. Just like the fine art residing in private collections never to be seen by art lovers. Someone should see a way to re-publish Magick so that it can again see the light among those who are starting down the path of mentalism.

The Collector's Workshop has promised to re-print all 4 volumes of Magick this year.

That is great. Now, if they would only do what Tannen's did for the Jinx and make it affordable and not just another "collectors" edition.
