I bought a flint flasher and first used it about 3 days ago for about 5 minutes. I laid it down and didn't come back to it until today, picked it up to play with it again, and when I did the wheel was jammed, then it began to 'roll' freely, not making contact with the flint.
I'm 99% sure I just need to replace the flint(I guess I got a faulty one from the manufacturer), however I can't seem to figure out the best way to do it(without actually damaging the flasher). Any help is greatly appreciated.

Ask the dealer who supplied it. He might suggest a way.

Yeah, those are a LOT easier to just return/get another. Just a little info, it's usually not flint, but a little bitty ferro rod.
