Hey all... I struggled to find the place to ask this question - is there really no mentalism forum on the Café? Anyhoo - this definitely plays well as a kid's trick, so I hope you guys can help me.
I recently saw a great parlor show in Atlantic City (I forget the performer's name), and he did an effect I'd never seen before, but was really fun. It is a flip book with different faces drawn on each page. Additionally, each page is cut at three points allowing the top of the head, the eyes, and lower face to be mixed and matched. The performer then handed a sealed envelope to a spectator and asked her to tell him when to stop flipping the top, then the middle, then the bottom, coming to a seemingly random looking face. The spectator then opened the envelope to see the drawing inside matched exactly what she had come to "randomly." I probably described that poorly, but I'm hoping anyone can help me find this, assuming it's out there on the market. Anyone have any ideas?

Yup, that's it. Thanks I've been into magic for a year and a half. In that time I've worked at the local magic shop and learned quite a bit, but it seems there's always some very common item that pops up that I've never seen
Thanks guys.

No problem, when you are ready to work restaurants I know where there is a list of them in CT that has a magician and he is fine with other magicians trying to get jobs there.

I think in this case this is the appropriate area as it is a kids show routine.
