I have learned only a few tricks with coins at this point, but I would like to become pretty good with coins. What would you suggest for a beginner? I have learned one coin matrix. I have learned Chris Capehart's version of the misers dream, and his six coins across. I have scotch & soda, and I think that is it. What things should I do next?

A few versions of coin assemblies, coins through table, transformation effects and perhaps a close up misers dream, would also be great for your repertoire.

If you can do most of the basics, just pick one of many coin dvds out there....
otherwise, you might wanna get basic coin DVD first... cheers Andre

Enjoy what others create as well as playing with a few coins and other props, plots and personality.(yours or one you adapt while performing)
I love the column in the M.U.M. The Beginers mind.. Now and Zen I think I get it then realize it is like flowing water.... hmmm coin to water..or water to coin....must have been that repeat episode of Smallville on T.V. last night... Harris

Welcome!
I'd say get Bobo's book for reference. Everyone will refer to effects from this tome. Then I'd say get Roth's Expert Coin Magic Made Easy or Ammar's Complete Introduction to Coin Magic. That should keep you going for at least a few months. |

In http://www.coinvanish.com there is a free routine called Sticky Coins, it is a beautiful version of Gadabout Coins. With the routine you can learn and practice your CP and Click Pass.
