Today, someone mentioned to me at a Vegas show about a magician having a chosen card fly around the room, even though a spectator's arms formed into a hoop. Sounds like a really advanced gimmick. Be neat to see and even do this trick. Any Ideas on this?

I've never personally seen this, and I'm assuming that if it is on sale, it's quite expensive. I'm guessing if you could get the spin right, you may be able to use something from Sean Bogunia, like his Programmable Thread System. (I apologize if that isn't the correct name, but if you do a search, you will find out what I'm talking about.)

I have heard of magicians spinning cards to give them a boomerang effect. It would have to be just right to make a planned move through someone's arms. I guess with practice, you can get that good with it.

The Boomerang Card effect is explained in Card College, Vol.1, but I don't think you would be able to fly a card all around the room and thru a spectator's arms. I guess anything is possible, but it would sure take a lot of practice.

Many magicians are wanting to do very good and advanced routines, since all of us have seen the classics performed many times over. I've seen some of Criss Angel's work on the Internet. The most unusual was the one where he put a marked coin in his mouth, then the coin came down his arm under the skin and he opened his wrist with a knife to pull the marked coin out!!! Whoa!!!
