On Saturday September 15th, the Ft. Myers, Florida chapter of the SYM will feature master magician and sleight of hand artist Keith Raygor from Naples , Florida as our guest speaker. Keith is a hidden treasure of southwest Florida, and has been appearing five nights a week at the wonderful Watermark Grille restaurant in Naples for over 8 years. He also performs for national conventions, private parties, and appears locally as kid-show entertainer "Professor Patches". This will be a lecture not to be missed by any young magicians in the area ! The meeting is at The Preserve, (off Colonial Blvd.), in their clubhouse. Well, for those who missed it, Keith Raygor's lecture at the Ft. Myers SYM meeting this past Saturday was awesome!

Those that attended were able to witness some elegant sleight of hand, and got instruction in the classic coin/card matrix. At the end of the meeting, Keith had a slew of wonderful tricks he had cleaned out of his closet, and he donated them to the members ! Each student was chosen to come up to select his or her tricks via a luck of the draw from a deck of cards, with Tony Chaudari assisting in the draw (Thanks Tony!). All in all, it was an outstanding meeting.

Next month, we are scheduled to have Maria Ibanez as our guest, so if you are in the area, be sure to come by for a visit. Also, our fearless leader, Terry Harris will be back from his summer adventures and show dates.
