I'm sorry to hear this.
I'm a big fan of the work he published in Mentzer's Card Cavalcade, and recently sent him an email telling him so. His version of the Collectors plot is still my favorite handling. I use it all the time. Best wishes for a full recovery...

Sad news, Jim is a real class act.
One of the last living 10-in-one performers. I wanted to be in show business the worst way, and that was it.
