Greetings-

I use fire effects in my show but everything extinguishes automatically!!-Numerous firebowls etc

The flaming torch to fan (Firefan)-I need to extinguish obviously -I have seen Shimada use a bag of sorts-what would these bags be made of & what is inside to extinguish the flames etc

Help for Any ideas appreciated-open to anything to-maybe a bucket with a top etc-but I travel a lot so keep this in mind

Individual wicks can be blown out with a good hard puff. Alternately, you can snuff the individual wicks with a wet ALL COTTON cloth. Always good to have on hand anyways.

Will try both-You have helped me solve a real problem here -especially for indoor shows-fire has never been a problem for me but I am very safety conscious

I use a cloth for my fan.

Bucket of sand is the fastest

It may be the fastest, but it could get messy...not to mention it is heavy.

But it is HORRIBLE for the wicks. We used sand to extinguish some fire fans once. I had to replace the wicks before we could use the fan safely again.
Damp cotton or a quick puff...The only ways to go.
