I am interested in developing a theology of Gospel magic. I would be interested to hear your comments on the free download book on a Theology of Gospel Magic at http://www.gospelEmagic.com
Christians are suspicious when we use magic and evangelism in the same breath and so I think we need a good response as to why we think this is a great tool to use. What do you think? Look forwards to hearing from you. |

I was interested in your eBook, but was unable to print it out. If you have removed that capability and it's not just something I'm doing wrong, I think that might hinder people from reading it. I rarely sit in front of my computer to read things mainly because I don't have the time to do that, so I generally print things out, take them with me, and read when I have a spare moment. I'm disappointed that I cannot print your eBook.

I just finished reading the free download. You obviously put a lot of research into it. Great work! Although I perform Gospel Magic I am a strong believer that the best method of preaching God's word is speaking directly to the conscence of the people. Jesus used visual aids,(not to be confused with magic tricks) as a means to explain spiritually what would otherwise be hard for us to understand mentally. When Jesus spoke, He spoke with authority, and this is why people listened. When we use magic as a visual aid we are not using it to help explain something spiritually what would otherwise be impossible for us to explain mentally. We use magic to make it entertaining. I enjoy performing Gospel Magic, but nothing is more powerful than the raw and natural form of God's Word spoken with authority and conviction.

I just purchased your Gospel magic e-book for $10, but found nothing new in it. It contained 10 Gospel tricks most everyone are already familiar with. I also noticed that some of the patter is almost, if not identical to patter presented in other Gospel magic books I've read. I also think it would of been proper to provide and give credit to the creator's of the tricks as well as some of the patter used. I also think the format could of been a bit better, making it easier to locate chapters without the need to scroll through everything. I know you advertised it as being 70 pages long but most of the pages were only half filled.
Other than that, I'm sure anyone who is interrested in learning some very simple Gospel tricks will find this e-book to be helpful. $10.00 is pretty steep though!
