Anyone know where I can pick up a mismade dollar? They used to be all over the place, but I've ordered it twice now from different dealers and both have notified me that it's not going to be available anymore.
I've even tried the local coin shop and they looked at me like I'd just asked for coins from Mars. PM me or email me at magic@elmnet.net. Thanks! |

you might be better off buying a sheet from the mint and going from there. cheaper than buying singletons and you might discover they make great business cards for money clients.
...to all the coins I've dropped here

Most all dealers have them for sale. Try http://www.themagicwarehouse.com or http://www.magicsmith.com ...They both have mismade dollars.

You can always make you own. The US Mint, as well as many coin dealers and individual sellers (eBay), sell sheets of uncut bills in every denomination. Depending on what size sheet you get you could make several so you always have a spare.
Hope this helps...

When you do the routine... put a little tape on the mismade bill... change the bill and say look no tape.... when the spectator sees that there is tape on the mismade bill.. say "oops" and just pull it off leaving a complete mismade bill. .. Just came up with the idea right now.. imho it will strengthen the effect.

I bought a sheet and made my own. I obviously don't need 21 mismade dollars so I'm selling them at $6 each if anyone wants one of a few. I believe they're $10 to $15 shipped from magic stores. I have about 7 left.

As other members have stated buying a sheet from the mint is the best way to go. The last one I bought cost $12.95!! ( that was very recently) What can I say I not the sharpest tool in the shed and needed one quickly, so if you are in a hurry shop. They are diffently out there. Can you say rip-off?
In December of '06 I was diagnosed with a very rare cancer, Dermatofibrosarcoma Protuberans. One in a million people worldwide are diagnosed with this type of cancer annually. Sarcomas account for 1% of all cancers. Knowledge is power!
