This is a one coin routine useing nothing more or less then one coin. The moves are the so called basics. I personally don't think they are basics but that's what we call them.
I did this vid for someone they wanted to see what I would do with just one coin. I wantted to do this using just the moves they show in Bobo's book. Just to show that with alittle thinking you can do some great magic from the book. Also I feel a lot of people are so concerned with making and learning new moves before really learning these. These so called basic have been around along time. That in itself should tell us just how prowerful these moves are. Spend more time on mastering the so called basics and see what you can really do. I hope you know what I mean. Let me know what you think. Thanks in advance Tim http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zZL5IsXCog0

First, I like that you are exploring and reading Bobo's Modern Coin Magic.
Have you explored the Roth routine in his book? Or the original in Slydini Encores? When you can, that lapel coin thing is amazing. But as to using what's in that book ONLY... to my eye you are adding in moves and ideas from Slydini and including something of Ramsay's and something of Geoff Latta's. Anyway congrats on getting a routine together and it looks good.
...to all the coins I've dropped here

I know I used a Ramsey in there but what part is Latta's????? I used a TP,CP,retension from the verticle postion. A take, change over, FP concelment, TP concelment, CP concelment,New era coin vanish at the end, All thoses are in the book.....lol I love the lepel move from roth but I could'nt use any thing extra just one coin. Thanks for the comment Tim

Tim,
Thanks buddy, I always appreciate all you contribute and as you stated, these are the basics and WE the newer cats to coins MUST master them before going on to the knuckle busters! I recently went back to Vid 1 of ECM and started at the beginning and worked all the way through and I found that "Production,Vanish and Repro" was more of a test of my standards than Winged Silver! Sooooooo..... gotta work on that ol boring stuff before really running with the big dawgs! I love the out takes and I'm gonna add that to some of Rannie's outs from Threeple Treat just to give me hope when I'm feeling especially klutzy! OH SH*T, gravity works"! I too dig Roths flurry with the lapel coin! |

Pod,
When will we see a write up and/or vid of your "EP" (eye palm) trans or vanish? LOL |

Haha...with a c/s you can do an Eyebound. It's much harder to do with two coins.

Always nice to see you work Tim! Well, I will tell you, I must be getting better. I have the out takes down already. I know for a fact I can do your out takes, as good, if not better than you. I just need to work on the rest of your routine.....
Where I go, so do my coins.....

Just to be sure..... if I do my version of Tim's "out takes" do I have to credit him even if I drop the coin slightly different?
