The picture is again shown and all the faces are missing but the one who is also the man whoes name was choosen. I need help with the frame and picture. How can I have the 1st picture replace the 2nd.

WR - there are a few old legends about soldiers or sailors condemned by a curse to wander the earth for an act of cowardice, until they redeem themselves (usually in heroic battle). This is similar to the legend of the Wandering Jew. I seem to remember there was at least one fiction series written based on a legend like this, and a lot of short stories. I hear the story shows up again and again in Gothics and Romance novels. With Roman soldiers, it could for example be deserters who fled when the city of Rome was being sacked by barbarians, cursed by a powerful religious figure.
Personally as a former soldier I have always been fascinated by stories of "the eternal soldier". Does anyone know any candidates for the original piece of folklore? -bigwolf {*}
