Hey guys!
I have a video camera with a mini disk that is re writable. If I film myself on that...how do I get it on my computer and youtube? Someone said I need some memory stick that sticks in the camera which I now bought. SO if you know how to do it, please let me know as I want to do some filming today! Thanks |

You should be able to just stick the mini disk into your computers DVD drive nd copy the files to your computer off of it. The camera also might have a USB cable which would allow you to copy he files as well.
Read your manual. It should tell you how to do what you're asking.

Try not to use USB for video. It sucks to all holy heck.
If you've got a firewire, use that. By mini-disk I'm assuming you mean mini-dvd (as mini-disk was a failed audio format). If it's a mini-dvd it should work in a dvd drive. Robert

As I have discovered, mini-dvd is a very difficult format for video editors as it uses MPEG-2 with a variable bit rate. Windows Movie Maker won't edit MPEG-2 files, so you may need other software like ULEAD.
