I'll just say again that I'm in no way criticising the look of this item - I've said several times that it looks great and is up to Chance's usual standard. I've just taken the show in a different direction recently so it wouldn't fit into my act at the moment. I'm also trying to use more of my own stuff these days.
I'll read the reviews with interest though!

Kimmo,
Don't sweat it. I am the creator of this effect and have taken NO OFFENSE to any of your comments. I struggled for years for a final decision on how to approach this effect. In the end, you cannot please everyone but those who choose to buy it will be more than satisfied...well..I sure hope so! By the way, I cannot post reactions in all the threads regarding this prop. I will be focusing on the thread in the "Latest and Greatest" section for the most part. Thanks for the great response! Chance

I am a bit confused by your post Micheal. Did you invent this trick? Is your name meant to be on the website?

Andy,
If memory serves me correct, Michael had called me about another topic and we got to discussing what I had up and coming. I had mentioned, or he was already aware of, that I was working on a new version of the Wiz Kote effect which was already well underway in design and proto-typing. He simply threw out the idea of possibly designing it for the use of a cell phone and that was about it but a very important twist. Regarding inventing, no, he did not invent it but gave me the inspiration for the plot. The invention of this prop was an immense amount of R&D and initial investment plus countless hours of design, redesign, etc etc. I don't want this to come off wrong but in the magic industry, ideas are dime a dozen...even good ones. Easily spoken yet rarely pursued. Just spend a few days at a convention. The real "invention" and work lies in making the idea an actual reality through countless hours of design, proto-typing, failures and success not to mention the financial investment and risk. Someone has to do it Typically I do not cut quite the deal I did with Michael but it was such a great suggestion that I felt he deserved the reward. I hope this helps clear up the topic a bit. Thanks Chance Wolf Wolf's Magic

This is Steve Thomas. Chance, you are a true gentleman among us. Most creators wouldn't think twice about not recognizing someone's suggestion, let alone sticking to the agreement you made. I applaud you...again.

I didn't want to say anything Chance, but when you were discussing the pototype of your coin ladder, Wasn't it I who told you to use coins?! ..... I'm just saying, what would you have had without my suggestion? A simple, plain ladder! You can get those in any Hardware store but with my help I made it a true work of art. If you need my address to send me a free one for that valuable advice, please pm me and we can discuss shipping. I have to go now.... I need to find a friend about a wrist chopper. Yep, I suggested that he use a seemingly sharp blade to startle the audience. Brad (aka - Clownboy)

That's great about giving credit. I talked to Chance about the Wacky Water Wheel.
You may be wondering who George Pierce is in the credits. He was my mentor. Instead of taking credit myself, I asked Chance to put Geoges name on it. George taught me the Wizzy Dizzy milk in the 1970's. He made me promise never to tell the secret. I've performed it hundreds of times. Even lost a (so called)fiend over it for keeping George's promise. When Chance released The Water Wheel, I was so excited, I could not help myself, but call him and told. Then Chance devised his own original ending based on Georges idea. George was the Dean of New Orleans Magicians and a working pro. He is long deceased. I'm happy to have his name carried on. Thank you Chance. ACE, proud owner of 11 Wacky Wolf effects and one micro set.

Good luck with the Cellulator. There were getting to be too many versions of the shoe trick anyway. I'm glad you decided not to use the OOPS Machine method but went with a modified Wiz Kote instead. It's better for the box magicians to have something they can't mess up. Anyway it looks good and will keep magicians happy for a long time to come.
