That would explain a lot. It's tough having a yoga teacher for a wife, let me tell you, . . .

Mark, I did not mean to make light of the passing of your grandmother. We posted at the same time and I did not see your post. She does sound like she was a very cool lady.

Bill, no problem. I didn't take it that way at all. Happy Thanksgiving.

Oh, and whoever invented tofu should be buried in the stuff.

Bill, I think Rowat would like that.
I'm looking forward to hearing some comments on Raven's Tales. I'm not as well off as the rest of you. I'm hoping to fix that in Saturday's night game. SW

Hmmm, S.W., you have me in a rather difficult situation, here. It depends on where you're putting your money. If you're betting on the wrong team, what shall I do? Hope you win, so you can get the book, or hope the right team wins? ARGGGGHHH, life is difficult sometimes. At least it's not baseball season.

I received a copy of "Raven's Tales" a few weeks ago and posted my early thoughts on the Shadow Digest shortly afterwards.
I have since had more time to read the contents and the more I read, the more impressed I become. There are a dozen items in the fifty-six pages and everything is well presented and workable. A couple of ideas in particular caught my eye, Jimi's Card' which has a nice tie-in with the late great Jimi Hendrix. Despite its title it is not really a card trick! Like Doug, I was also impressed with a card reading presentation which includes an excellent way of remembering the meanings of the cards. It's all built into the presentation! I don't do card readings but I might now! He also has neat presentational ideas for The Voodoo Doll & my current obsession, The Haunted Key! All in all, a good buy for a modest price. I can confidently recommend this book, knowing that any purchaser will find something that they can use. You can get from here: http://stores.lulu.com/store.php?fAcctID=990819

Dunno, Fishwasher. I eat soy burgers and all that, drink soy milk, too. But tofu has more foo than it should. I would prefer pond slime, I think. This is only a personal opinion, I know, but I just don't like the stuff.
Getting back on topic: Leslie Melville's comments about RAVEN'S TALES are right on the mark (pun unintended. I just noticed it when I began to write the next sentence. Congrats, Mark! A comment like that from Leslie Melville is a real pat on the back. Bill

Excellent book! I put "Prana" to work right away and dug up other props that were gathering dust and will get them working also.
Mark's presentational style fits well with my own and his card reading ("Cartomancy") is IMO the best. Thank you Mark! Andy

Andy, you made me go back and look at "Prana." Great! Yes, I will use that one, too. Thanks.
