Next week, a group of magicians and I will all be attempting to fool each other: it's a nice, fun challenge, with probably the price of a few pints sitting on it.
I'm playing with the idea of using the Annemann One Way Deck as described in Corinda, and would welcome any suggestions for routines with it. I want something straightforward and direct, so that the method is invisible. I'm thinking about a simple card selection and return, and then finding it from a spread deck. I seem to have a bit of a mental block at the moment, so I would very much appreciate any creative input on any level. If anything else for the challenge could be recommended, then I'd be more than happy to hear it: although I'd not have time to get my hands on a gimmick. (I am also playing around with the idea of using a slightly altered version of Bill Goldman's "Mental Yarn.") |

Next time you might want to try Eugene Burger's "Thought Sender." At the end the person can really hold the cards.

Thought Sender is great. If you want to see Berger perform it, you can go to his web site MagicBeard.com. He does a complete routine. I saw him perform at the recent Mindvention and he did his version of B'wave. Nobody better at story telling then Eugene Berger.

I suggest you read Anneman's "Shhh it's a secret". Full of great ideas using the one-way deck.
