This looks very similar to something called the cloak of invisibility and from the picture of this lev it looks like the exact method... you could build your own for a few dollars.

That did not look that good at all...just being honest. For the price tag?

I'll just buy the Wild Levi and do the same thing. An AD just came out in October's MAGIC Magazine for this thing, claiming it lets you go about a foot off the ground. Bull.

That is just rubbish, he wasn't even performing it well, plus it's not even new... how can you just add a cloak and release something as your own?

I was always raised with the saying "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all". Therefore, I'm not saying anything...

He's a comedy magician guys. If you buy this he laughs all the way to the bank.
Watch his show demo and he was a good performer though. |

He still is a GREAT performer and he has a set of lecture notes that helped me.
H&R magic books used to have them. I would not spend as much as 400 dollars on anything though. This does look ropey alright.

This is just a reworking of the Wild Lev. He uses a cloak instead of just taking off or borrowing a jacket. He is correct though in saying you can get about a foot off the ground. He has added another element to the levitation, (still not his idea though) that allows for this.
Both of his ideas are straight from other people. The Wild Lev is a direct ripoff of a brilliant idea and the last 1 foot phase is a ripoff of a published item. Karl Fulves published it in either Epilogue or Chronicles. I can't remember which. But its definitely out there. I don't think combining 2 ideas that were not yours to begin with, into a routine constitutes something you can sell. But then again, what do I know. |
