I have read it, and particularly like the force used. I'm playing with an idea that I think is better than the overall routine, however. I realize that part of its purpose was to ingrain the magician's name in the kids' & parents' heads. That's not my motivation at all for this effect. Once my idea has been battle tested I'll report on its success.

I used Steve Thomas's idea with the duck and got a good reaction. I combined it with the idea in this month's Magic magazine for the force, which is gold.

What are the main differences in the card ducks available today? Which manufacturer(s) makes the best one?

Great to know that some of you are using my routine (and the force that I use)
