We're looking forward to hearing more from Jim. The Scotch-Irish were exempted from the Repealed Enactment Witchcraft Act (1735). Most of our inner beings are looking forward TO THE NEXT SHOW WITH GREAT ENTHUSIASM! (Isso capitalized).

Can Jim Still win it? I want Raymond to win, he's not been voted off the show.

Excellent point, isn't Raymond the one who did all the work? Jim was just his bad acting amplifier.

Okay BDC, you're on the wrong track.
I say the show sucks, but I never said that the people on it suck. I think Mike Super is the best performer o the show, but the show isn't doing anybody any justice. Angela is doing well for herself, but you said it. She's new/green and it shows. I hope she becomes a huge star.I hope nothing but the best for all of the cotestants on the show. But the show isn't up to par with the talent. The show sucks because of the format, the retarded scripted tiff between angel and callahan, and the fact that Uri Gellar is now the Paula Abdul of Mentalism. Essentially, I think it may even do more damage than good to mentalists because I have seen incredible performances by better mentalists in local magic shops and I get the bad feeling that everyone will begin to think mentalism is nothing more than "choosing the right one" ie Roulette effects, or lets see what I put in the box before the show. Ya see I didn't have the time to write all this crap down before so I wrote "the show sucks" and I stand by it. best to ya, Bobby
I am truly blessed to have a job where people are laughing all the time and everyone believes in magic....Come to think of it, I'm blessed to even have a job.

Viewership has declined each week since the show's debut. That is not what would be expected for a competition-based reality program, quite the opposite. One would expect that as the pool of competitors gets winnowed down and the stakes get higher, viewership would increase. |

So Criss has put enough holes in the boat to sink it...No more pesky Phenomenon shows to challenge Mindfweek.

I have been impressed by most of the performers on the show. I have said elsewhere, I am no fan of Criss Angel. I don't dislike him I just find his persona annoying. What bugs me about the show is the attempt to resurrect Uri Geller's celebirty. There were any number of competent mentalists they could have gotten as a "celebrity judge", why did they feel compelled to trot him out?

Other than Kreskin, Gellar is the only one with a known reputation among the public.
Plus, it was his show in Israel, so he came along with it.

I like that most topics on the Café that involve Jim go over 35 pages of posts.
I like that people use their talents to the best of their abilities - charm, sexuality, and sensuality. Only an idjit wouldn't use their strengths - now via feedback it will get even more finely honed (i.e. AF). I go a feeling if AF just did mental magic card tricks and just had jumbo sized predictions etc., shw would have wiped out everbody on Phenom. Super took the gamble that what the audience really wanted was mental magic (and I slap myself everytime I use such limiting labels) - but y'know what I mean. I look forward to seeing CA try to squirm out of what he knows is coming - a possible national insulting on TV that he has left himself open too... and allowing Jimbo to leave everyone wondering.... It will be Super or Angela who wins the Phenom $250K, but Jim got the crazy TMZ spotlight.

Anyone ever notice how Tim Vincent pronounces Phenomenon? He says, "Phenomenom".. With an "M" at the end.
