I agree Al, we're in pretty cool company! I call Rannie my Sensi and I'll bet I've logged more hours studying his stuff than I have Roth or Ammar! I catch something new every time I watch a video of his and my magic has changed in a very positive way!

Rannie, yet again you amaze me!!! You take an item I have always thought to myself 'What is the point in this?!?!', and you have given it a point and a purpose...i'm starting to think a few more of these are going to get bought now after Magicians have watched this. Very nice!

I certainly hope so Chris! Its quite a box. It also serves as a perfect coin box to hold your halves and pennies. There is magic in everything....all we have to do is look around and have an open mind and heart. Although techniques are key to every magician... I think too much of it (concentration wise) blocks of the magical mind, the inner child's eye and the eye for wonderment.
Mickey, thanks for the kind words brother! I can't wait to fly back and session with you more. PS.... I hope you enjoyed the cigars.... I smoked the one you gave me in the Hong Kong convention with the amazing Zenneth Kok over magic! Peace from manila, Rannie

As a matter of fact Ran, I smoked one of the 1898's yesterday while enjoying some espresso and working on a C&B routine ala Mendoza!
Looking forward to your return as well bro! Mick |

It was very touching...very very very good patter...like any other magician, I enjoy a good patter especially if it is fitted so ingeniously to the effect. No matter how small the effect, no matter how non-existent the methods...with the right patter...it could become the best illusion in the world. Great job Boss..your mind never rests so that we could all enjoy the magic.
Thank you. |

Boss, that was a realy butifull routine and the patter just blew me away!! Could I just ask one question:
Could this effect be modified so when you produce the coin from the box, you can shake the box and there be no rattle?? Thanks, magico563:-) |

Thank you!
Magico, I'm afraid you cant shake the box. In my humble opinion, the heat is no longer on the box or in this case...in the box. After the coin has been dumped out and the box is shown empty carelessly, I believe there is sufficient clarity. Your suggestion on the modification is sound , but I think it may not be necessary. Thank you once again. Rannie

Thank you ever so kindly! It was my intention to share the magic that can be found in our old magic drawers. Well.... the lesson that goes with it as well.
Your friend from Manila, Rannie PS I shall re shoot it and refine it further. Simon Lovell gave me a splendid tip for the patter to make the closure even better. Hey thanks Simon!

Sorry so late to drop by... have been very busy and exhausted working on the BOSS 'Hand Size Doen't Matter' DVD cover design...
It is a very nice, casual performance, and besides the BOSS incredible skill, now the BOSS is even more famous as a wise man in life, and I think the magic community need an advisor for the young generations so that what kind of path their magic goes... I can see that the routine is still in 'polishing' status, I am looking forward to see the complete one in future! Oops! I do not even own and know any coin box routine, what a shame to myself...
Most memorable moment - with Maestro Juan Tamariz & Consuelo Lorgia in FISM Busan 2018.

Steven,
Is the "theme" song still on the final cut? I was watching my copy the other night and my son came back to my office because he thought I was watching THAT movie! LOL Mick |

Very nice Rannie, very nice. The patter and the magic, and clearly the difference between you and me, I have the same box with the same gimmick, and it looked so cheap and useless that I put it away and forgot about it. You used it and become magic.
I'd like to see some other boxes routines ... Un abrazo ... Pablo |
