Does anyone have a Christmas Themed/Christian Themed routine for the following props?
Magic Milk Picture & Newspaper (I only want to use those specific props) I have been trying to come up with a Christmas/Christian theme for the Holidays and I really need some help with routining/patter. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Rodney

This is not for a Christmas presentation, but the first thing that popped into my mind was how God delivered His people into the Promised Land, a land the Bible tells us was flowing with milk and honey. However, because of disobedience (the kinds of which you can read in the newspaper everyday), God exiled His people from the land that flowed with milk and honey.

Another idea: If you have no problem mentioning Santa Claus in your show, you might say how you leave cookies and milk out for Santa, but he usually drinks the cup of milk and whatever you have left in the pitcher. In order to make sure milk left over in the morning for your cereal, you always hide some in the last place Santa would ever look ... in the newspaper.
Bobby p.s. These ideas might be lame, but I have an excuse: It's 2:38 a.m. (EST).

The milk pitcher could represent Jesus, the paper represents man, and one of the reasons we celebrate Christmas that's when Jesus came from heaven and poured himself into man...Jesus came for everyone...but not everyone receives Him. Unroll the newspaper and show the liquid vanished...
I hope that helps a little Keep the faith! |

Piggy-backing on Terry's idea is having the milk represent the Holy Spirit, who comes to live within us when we enter into a saving relationship with Jesus. Even though to our friends we might look the same on the outside, we are different because of the gift of the Holy Spirit.
