Rushhour:
It is quite possibly something that Dirk had produced for him. I cannot recall hearing it on any other video, and I've watched my share of them! Chris |

Who cares! Unless its for your ipod don't worry about some elses music. People keep asking "Who makes this music?", again WHO CARES!!! Get your own music, be origional. There are more songs in this world than card tricks (imagine that). So just find your own.

Ah Jason. Sometimes, you hear a piece of music that just feels right for the routine that you have in mind, and you want to get a hold of it to try. I agree with the concept that you should't just copy someone else's routine, complete with their patter, music, blocking, etc. But to hear a piece of music that a guy is using for one routine, and adapting it to another seems fair to me. Especially if that piece isn't some overdone, Cirque de Solei piece that everyone has used!

Speaking of that overdone Cirque de Solei piece, what is that called? I want it just to listen to. that's the song I hum when I pretend to do amazing tricks(act like an idiot) with my magic friends and I want it.

(I know your only wanting the first 7 seconds: BUT the rest .. . . . . . . .) The music is from Gone in 60 Seconds (from the score not from the various artists album) I used a variation of this for a trailer for a new illusion I'm working on with a bloke from Australia. A FANTASTIC album.... Lots of possibilities. good luck. Ryan |

Chris,
I have to very respectfully disagree. Some people look very long and hard for music for their act or promo. They "mine" for music and it can be a very difficult process with lots and lots of room for self doubt. To finally select a piece and then have another person just use it because they liked it. It's irritating and lacks originality. We should only be inspired by another's choice but strive to use little or nothing from another's material. Again, with all due respect to you Chris. Rush hour best on whatever you're working on, I hope it's a routine or whatever that ends up being wonderfully unique to you. |
