I have run into a couple of routines lately that use or could use dice for one aspect or another. Thought I would share this link with you if you haven't already seen it. They have a ton of materials and have a range of 4 sided dice to 100 sided dice. They are able to do custom work also it appears.

Alton, you mean you don't have a background in geekdom (like me) that was heavy into role-playing games ?
I got to dig up the links to the CThulhu Dice sets and so on..... Green ichor and black pools dice! Thanks for the links and a blast of nostalgia!

Not a bad site. Lots of interesting objects for a cabinet.
I made a set of dice similiar to that with Fimo clay. They looked a lot like the "Oogy Boogy" Dice from the film "Nightmare Before Christmas" I used beige fimo and hand formed the cubes, then crudely carved a skull into each side with the pips being the number of eyes. |

Sculpey works really well and you can do a rough, yet still decent cube by hand that is still even enough to function as a die. We did this as a "make your own board game" project and I got to make the dice w/ the client. He was amazed at how well both the pieces and the set of dice turned out.
Ever since then, I've wanted to do an antiqued set of "lots" for an effect, possibly even making a matched, gaffed set. However, I haven't had inspiration to do anything new or different w/ dice for a while. I do a simplified version of the Sachs routine (Hideo Kato contributed a one-die version to Genii years ago) and I'm playing w/ Sheets' version but don't have it down smoothly enough for my comfort level at this point. Maybe this thread has provided some additional inspiration. I have a set of "skull dice" that were given to me a couple of years ago as a gift. They are my favorite pair of dice, but I couldn't tell you where to get them now as they were originally acquired through Mary Tomich. Chris |

There are on the German ebay side some dice with a skull instead of a 1.
I think they are made of wood colored black. I don't know if they fit for US. I have no actual link. kindly |
