I recently recorded a DVD of my theatre show and have each individual segment of the show saved as WMV files. I'm now looking to use these files, edit them down to smaller clips and make a montage. Making the montage is no problem, but how do I edit these clips into smaller files? Can it be done using any programme that's on XP such as Movie Maker? I don't have the original camera tapes to re-record them as smaller files.
Please help!! Thanks in advance Mark

Yes, Movie Maker can do it. Just "import video" and select the files. You will lose a little quality when you recompress your output file.

Movie Make is cake to use. It actually started my interest in editing video. Not the best program on the market but it's super simple.
