Hi guys!
I'd like to know the name of the effect in which there is a shadow effect in half a circle. The girl disappears and reappears in the other half of the circle. Klok does it in his show. Who builds this effect? Bill Smith maybe... Thanks for your help, Eric |

OK guys! Just found my answer! It's called Eclipse! Very good! Who builds it and who invented this effect?

The illusion is called Eclipse and was invented by Mark Kalin. It is built by Willie Kennedy.

It's a huge piece that is not for everyone.
seams to be pretty popular piece right now. Personally I'm not a huge fan of it. I think for the cost and size you can have a much better illusion. You see this huge thing on stage and with the build up you just expect more than you get. I do like Kalin's version of the illusion. However, the one on the market does not allow for the extras( from what I'm told). Hans Klok also has a nice routine with it. would be a much better effect (not that it is a bad effect as is) if you get a better visual of the person passing thru the steel. just my two cents |

What are the extras you're talking about?!

It is a fantastic trick and the audiences go nuts for it. Willie Kennedy is truly one of the finest crafstmen in the business. I have had mine for 2 years now and it never fails to impress. Dispite the size...it is actually quite light. Search Scott Alexander Eclipse on youtube mine should still be up there if you want to take a gander. I will be happy to offer my thoughts to anyone who is seriously considering getting one.
